Take Interstate 40 East towards Asheville to exit 447. Take exit 447 and turn RIGHT onto Hartford Road at Rafting In The Smokies. Stay on Hartford Road (which runs along the interstate) for approximately 1.9 miles to Lindsey Gap Road, the first paved road on the left that crosses the Pigeon River. The bridge is called Bluffton Bridge. Follow Lindsay Gap Road for approximately 1.7 miles until you see bright yellow gate and a burgundy sign labeled “Carrie’s Cabin.” Turn in and follow the road to the top of the hill and you will see the cabin. FROM PIGEON FORGE & SEVIERVILLE
Find Dolly Parton Parkway (Highway 411) from Highway 66 or Veterans Blvd. Turn right towards Newport. Travel for approximately 18-miles until it ends in Newport. Turn RIGHT onto Highway 25/70 and just beyond the fuel stations, take another RIGHT onto I-40 East. Once on I-40, travel approximately 15-miles to exit 447. Take exit 447 and turn RIGHT onto Hartford Road at Rafting In The Smokies. Stay on Hartford Road (which runs along the interstate) for approximately 1.9 miles to Lindsey Gap Road, the first paved road on the left that crosses the Pigeon River. From the parking lot just inside the Tennessee border, head south on State Route 1182 and cross the North Carolina border. Turn right at Fall Branch Road and continue onto Cold Springs Creek Road towards the interstate. At Interstate 40, turn RIGHT towards Knoxville. Travel approximately 5-miles inside the Tennessee border to exit 447. Take exit 447 and turn LEFT. You will travel under the interstate and turn RIGHT on Hartford Road just one block ahead at the stop sign and Rafting In The Smokies. Stay on Hartford Road (which runs along the interstate) for approximately 1.9 miles to Lindsey Gap Road, the first paved road on the left that crosses the Pigeon River. Travel to Interstate 81 and turn south towards Knoxville. A few miles past the Morristown exit, Interstate 81 will end. Turn left onto Interstate 40 East towards Asheville.
